Ehren with his fans

This past week, Danger Ehren was still kicking around Los Angeles following Monday night's jackass 3 Blu-ray/DVD launch party. On Wednesday, while out to a not-so-power-lunch with Jeff Tremaine, Shanna and Rick Kosick, the unimaginable happened to him: He was recognized! A group of people passing by the restaurant actually spotted Ehren and called him out by his name—and they weren't even relations or close personal friends of his!

Okay, okay, not to sound like a dick (although you know what they say: if the kettle's black then it's probably a pot), but what you have to understand is that for the longest time no one seemed to recognize Ehren at all. This became a big joke within the cast and crew—except for Dave England, that is, who is, to this day, consistently stopped on the street by strangers mistaking him as "that guy from jackasswith the pubic hair on his face"—and whenever we were out in public and approached by fans we'd point to Ehren and ask them to identify him. Invariably, they could not, much to our twisted, dicky glee, but it would appear that after a decade's worth of TV shows and a handful of box office gorilla films (Grind not included) Danger Ehren has finally arrived. Hooray!
